Jean Baton Swindell’s Resource Center Children’s Disability Connection

Easter Seals Therapy Center
At Easter Seals Therapy Center, teams of therapists, teachers and other health and human service professionals come together to help individuals overcome obstacles to independence and to reach his or her goals. Salem Health CHEC
The Community Health Education Center (CHEC) informs and empowers patients, families, community members and hospital staff by providing accurate health information and connecting them to appropriate hospital and community services and programs. Willamette Family Medical Center
The Willamette Family Medical Center provides quality healthcare services and education to all patients regardless of language or financial barriers. Family Building Blocks

Silverton Together

Silver Creek Animal Sanctuary, Inc.
The Silver Creek Animal Sanctuary is a nonprofit charity exemplifying and encouraging compassion for animals and humanity by providing a permanent, loving home for ill, abused and neglected goats and llamas while providing a healing and learning environment through these animals for disabled children and adults. Goat Therapy is offered both at the sanctuary and at outside locations. Other services include education presentations, basic goat care classes, and the list of services is growing. Adaptive Riding Institute
The Adaptive Riding Institute provides therapeutic recreational horseback riding for people with a variety of special needs. Riding brings physical and emotional benefits, from relief of stress to improved motor skills and strength.
